I bought one for each of my daughters as we love going to the beach and ordering rolled ice cream. They make it look so easy! It does take some practice to get the ice cream to roll but my 9 year old was successful. We made the yogurt recipe with the condensed milk and added Oreos. It was delicious. We’ve also tried using regular ice cream rather than making our own just to practice rolling.

The plate stays cold for a long time and allows for multiple batches and lots of practice. You need to move quickly as it freezes whatever is put on it and the ice cream needs to stay a little bit softer to get it to roll. We like that it takes up minimal space in the freezer and is very easy to clean (we just run it under hot water and pop it back in the freezer). It’s definitely our new way to eat ice cream!

This is easier to use than I expected. You only need to freeze the plate. That means it takes up a lot less room in the freezer than the big jar to freeze for ice cream machines.
